São Paulo industry Closes openings in November

The Sao Paulo State industry closed 14500 vacancies in November, falling 0.67 percent without seasonal adjustment. The data was raised by the Federation of industries of the State of São Paulo (Fiesp), which associates the negative number to the waiver of temporary staff and the end of agricultural crop. Year to date, the decline was 0.16%, representing 3500 jobs closed. The research followed 22 sectors and, among them, two were positive, 14 showed negative numbers and six remained stable. The food segment closed 6,240 vacancies, followed by making clothing and accessories, with 1,788.
