Consumer demand for credit in May 7.2% advances, says Serasa

São Paulo – consumer demand for credit grew 7.2% in May compared with the same month of the previous year, reported on Wednesday, 21, the Serasa Experian, as indicator of demand for credit.

In the highest income classes, consumers with monthly revenue between R $2000 and R $5000, there was growth of 5.7%. The band with income between R $5000 and R $10000 presented high of 5.2%, while the demand for credit from those who earn more than R $10000 advanced 5.8 percent.
Regions
The demand for credit also grew in all regions of the country in relation to may 2016, reported the Serasa Experian. In the North, the high was 12.3%; in the Northeast, 8.6%; in the South, the growth was 8.1%. In the Southeast, consumer demand for credit grew by 6.7%, while in the Midwest the advance was of 2.2%.
