Shopping Centers receive 1.66% more visitors in the month of April

The stream of people that get past the shopping malls grew 1.66% in April 2017 in comparison to the same month of the previous year, according to a survey conducted by the Brazilian Association of Shopping centres (Abrasce) in partnership with the Retail FX Analytics consulting.

So, in between January and April, the index grew 0.45% over the same period last year. According to the consultancy, the increase in visits is related to the improvement of the general picture of the brazilian economy, with inflation falling. In addition, there was also the release of the service of dormant accounts of the guarantee fund for length of service (FGTS).
