After two years, eat inside and outside the home will weigh less in your Pocket

With the biggest offer of food thanks to the supersafra and the downturn in the price of services, eat inside and outside the home should rise less in 2017, ensure experts.
Fabio Romão, LCA consulting Economist, believes that the price of food at home will have a high of 4.7 percent, the lowest since 2009. The projection of the Economist represents a slowing of the pace high in 32%, since the food at home was discharged from 9.36 percent in 2016, according to the Brazilian Institute of geography and statistics (IBGE). "Still won''t make up for the previous high, but will slow down and to position itself next to inflation, designed to 4.66%, which is an important gain for the consumer," he says.
To the price of food away from home, the expectation of the LCA''s high of 6% in 2017 before a 7.22 percent advance seen in 2016. Food away from home varies more than the food at home because it is linked not only to the food supply, but also to leisure, i.e. the decision to eat on the street.
In 2015 and 2016, the meal outside the home had a minor variation of price than eating at home, which is not usually seen.
Second Romão, this occurred because of the moment, which led, among other factors, the shrinkage of the consumer market. Under these conditions, the owners of restaurants had no space to move in prices and made up promotions. In 2017, beyond the help of the crop, a stabilization of the economy, which should make the food away from home return to "normal" Dynamics, with prices varying more than food at home.
The Economist of Infinity Asset, Jason Vieira, warning that hasn''t seen a process of deflation in food, when there''s a widespread drop in prices, because of factors such as the demand and climatic phenomena, which keep the price high. Vasquez projects a high of 0.28% in the consumer price index (IPCA) in April and high of 0.12% in the food group.
The big question is whether the projections will be reflected on the plate of the consumer. For Paula Cavagnari, Director President Association of Meal and food (Assert), the average price of the full meal may fall after three consecutive highs.
Assert research shows that the average price of a meal in 2016 was 8% more expensive than in 2015. "The trend now is to fall because that 8% is higher than the official inflation of 6.29%, despite having accompanied the increase in power group," explains Cavagnari.
In your pocket. In 2016, consumers shelled out an average of R$ 32.94 for a full meal (main dish, drink, dessert and coffee). The value was R$ 30.48 in 2015 and R$ 27.36 in 2014.

Grows the number of self-service restaurants because consumers want to lower price

In some cities, consumers paid far more than average. Was the case of Florianopolis (R $43,53), Vila Velha (37.49 R$) and São Luís (us $36,96). Paula, Assert, explains that this number shall be made up, among other factors, by the high cost of logistics, food, rent and life of these cities.
On the other hand, consumers of São José dos Pinhais and Uberlândia paid for cheap meal: 23.08 and R$ R$ 24.64, respectively. The study was made of 11 to 28 November in 4,574 establishments that accept food stamps.
The research, conducted by Datafolha Institute Assert, also pointed out an increase in self-service establishments, self-service. In 2016, 58 percent of the restaurants surveyed were of this type, compared with 54% in 2015. Paula explains that this increase reflects the concern of the owners in a clientele that seeks to lower prices for food.
The weight of the crisis in the Pocket and on the plate in 2014 and 2015, however, did not make the consumer food costs ran out of the House.
A survey by the credit protection service (SPC Brazil) and by the National Confederation of Merchants Leaders (CNDL) shows that one in five people who have and/or restaurant food Valley do not control the expenditures this modality. Other 27% admit to extrapolate the value before refilling of the company, and it is necessary to complement the total.
The well-known "VR" should be an ally of Brazil, since it gives a relief to Pocket and allows easy control of expenses. The Chief Economist of the SPC, Marcela Kawauti, considers that "the Brazilian tends to put aside the financial control".
The benefit is made possible through the worker''s food program (PAT), the Ministry of labour, which complements the supply of workers in partnership with the companies.
