Chinese phones with lower prices attract consumer

São Paulo – the Chinese spent a good part of the last 30 years by copying what other countries were doing best. It was so in the computer industry, in the production of cars and, more recently, in the development of mobile phones. The urge to repeat the success of the original inspiring led to a series of capengas products. Only now, after many misunderstandings, computers and Chinese cars began to introduce quality standards. The new wave is with the smartphones. They arrived with the main markets in the world – and also in Brazil.
More than half of smartphones in the world are Chinese brands. In Brazil, the index is less than 20%, but the numbers are growing. One of the reasons for the increased demand for the products of the country of the wall is the price of established brands. On Friday 1st, started in the Brazilian market the iPhone pre-sales X, the new season of Apple. At stores like Fast Shop, submarine, Extra, and Casas Bahia, the average values are R for the 64 GB version $7000 and R $7800 for 256 GB, figures that create a level unheard of prices.
Just take a peek at sites like There Express and Gearbest to understand the phenomenon of invasion of the Chinese phones. The appliance V7 +, brand Alive (not to be confused with the telephony operator), has similar settings with the simpler model of Iphone X, like 6-inch full HD screen and 64 GB of memory for storage. On the site Gearbest, the suggested retail price is around £ $1300. The buyer pays the tax still fixed by the internal revenue service, set at 60% of the value of the product and to be paid in cash at the post office where the delivery is made by the shop. In the end, the Chinese phones costs something like R $2000.
"These comparisons are not always fair", said Eduardo Tancinsky, a consultant specializing in brands and technology. "It is still not possible to compare the quality of a Chinese cell with an equivalent of the more traditional makers." Also enter in this account, he says, the fetish that brands like Apple still awaken, although the mythological aura of the company has decreased after the death of Steve Jobs. "We were born to conquer the world," he said in a recent event Lei Jun, founder and President of Xiaomi. Jun is a copycat of Jobs. When launching a product, promotes the same noisy presentations of the creator of Apple and likes to do the cool style.
If the market is growing, why the manufacturers from China do not settle for good around here? Doing so would result in changing the business strategy of the Chinese, which consists in conceiving the project and produce it in their own country. In addition, many manufacturers have already had difficulties in the Brazilian market, which caused giants like Xiaomi grasped its planned investment to Brazil.
The specialist Tancinsky remember that there's an irony in the resistance of people to buy a Chinese smartphone. Nowadays, he says, virtually all mobile phones on sale in Brazil are made in China or have their main components produced there. Apple, Samsung, Motorola and LG, to quote market leaders need the Chinese factories to meet global demand.
China is living a golden age in technology, a phenomenon that is already being called "chinese dream" (dream). No country in the world invests so much in research and development. Are $ $200 billion a year, ten times more than a decade ago. Also no nation progresses both in global innovation rankings. Recently, the Chinese Communist Party launched a challenge: to make the country a global leader in artificial intelligence until 2030. Don't doubt.
