Syngenta acquires seed company Nidera Seeds

New York, 6/11-Switzerland Syngenta reported, on Monday, 6, which agreed to acquire the company Nidera seed Seeds of the Cofco Chinese International. The financial volume of the transaction was not disclosed.
"This agreement is an important step in our strategy to focus on our core business," said the Chairman of Cofco International, Johnny Chi, in a press release. "Syngenta is well placed to provide a strong platform for Seeds Nidera long-term growth, creating the best value for their customers, farmers and workers," he added.
The conclusion of the agreement is subject to authorization from the regulatory agency, said Syngenta.
