Sales of supermarkets have real high of 0.25%

In August, sales of the supermarket sector in real values deflated by the IPCA/IBGE-presented drop-1.91% in comparison to the immediately preceding month and high of 0.25 percent over the same month of the year of 2016. Year to date, sales showed growth of 0.67%, in comparison with the same period of the previous year (accumulated from January to August of 2016).
In nominal values, the industry showed sales drop-1.73% compared with the previous month and when compared to August last year, up 2.74%. Year to date, sales rose 4.54 percent.
