Online sales have 12% high for parents '' day

Parents '' day cooperated with the increase in Internet sales in the days leading up to date, 14 August, registering nominal growth of 12% in turnover in the sector, in comparison to 2015.
According to a survey conducted by the Ebit-company specialized in e-commerce information-between 30 July and 13 August, consumers were responsible for approximately 4,000,000 of requests made, which generated revenue of 1.76 billion R$ for the virtual stores.
The average ticket value was R$ 441, an increase of 9% in relation to sales of the period last year. The research pointed out that the categories that had a higher volume of orders were "fashion and accessories" (16%), "Book/Magazine Subscription" (13%), "Cellular telephony/" (12%), "household appliances" (12%) and "cosmetics and Perfumery/health" (11%).
Consumer profile the profile of online consumers who purchased products over the Internet in the two weeks preceding the day brings, among the information gathered, 53% of women and 47% male. The regions by country (61%) were consumed East, South (17%), North East (12%), Midwest (8%) and North (3%).
