Demand for consumer credit has high of 11.9% in July

In July the indicator of demand for Consumer Credit pointed 11.9% high on evaluation against June, discounted seasonal effects. Already accumulated in 12 months change there was increasing tendency to fall from 5.1 percent the previous month-for current -6.0%, while in July against the same month of the previous year the indicator fell 9.9%. National data are da Boa Vista SCPC (Service Central de credit protection).
According to analysts of the Boa Vista SCPC, despite some improvement in expectations for the economy, the prevailing scenario is still a lot of uncertainty for consumers. Factors like high interest rates, negative real yields and high unemployment are just some of the conditioning variables of this result, which generates as a result a consumer quite cautious.
In this way, it is expected that the demand for credit continue in negative territory for now, checking positive trend levels (accumulated variation in 12 months) only from 2017.
