Wickbold and Seven Boys, together, want to win new customers

The manufacturer of industrialized breads Wickbold should take until the end of this year to complete the integration with Seven Boys, purchased by competitor group in 2015.
With the acquisition, the company that is focused on special breads made with addition of grain or yoghurt, for example-they have about 20% of the market share. As the two brands used to focus on different regions of the country, one of the goals was to use factories and distribution centers a to assist the other gaining ground, says the President, Fabio Medeiros.
"The Wickbold will help Seven Boys to return to shelves of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, while Southern regions and consumers win the Midwest and of Minas Gerais in the Southeast region."
The company tries to conquer space in Rio Grande do Sul, but has faced difficulties. "The consumer Gaucho, in General, tends to be tough on the purchase marks from other States."
