E-commerce sales should grow 12% on Valentine''s day, says E-bit

SAO PAULO-Brazilian e-commerce sales should grow 12% on Valentine''s day this year compared with the same date last year, according to estimation of the E-bit, a company specialized in the information sector. The projection is a turnover of 1.6 billion R$.
The E-bit expects growth both in the number of requests as in average sales ticket online. According to the survey, the e-commerce retailers have identified a "small improvement" on the mood of consumers in recent weeks, which can boost the commemorative date.
