Trademark owner Pestle must acquire the Coffee Select

Owner of the mark Pestle, Jacobs Douwe Egberts (JDE) Brazil, global company of coffees and teas, headquartered in the Netherlands, announced the intention to acquire the select group. The companies are awaiting the approval of the Brazilian regulatory authorities to complete the transaction during the first half of 2016. The proposal of the JDE is the acquisition of Select coffee brand and all its manufacturing operation located in Minas Gerais. Once approved, this acquisition marks an important step in the expansion of the JDE Brazil. In Brazil, besides coffee mortar and pestle, the JDE owns the brands Damascus, IT '' R, coffee, Senseo and Caboclo.
