Movement of consumers in stores have fall of 9.2%

The movement of consumers in stores across the country fell 1.5% in March this year compared with February and 9.2% over the same period last year.
That''s what reveals the Serasa Experian Indicator of Trade activity, released today (6). According to the survey, this is the worst quarter in the history of the bookmark, which began to be collected in 2000.
The biggest fall, compared to monthly, occurred in the mobile sector, electronics and computer science. The index stood at 2.5% was negative in March. The supermarkets, hypermarkets, food and drinks fell 1.5%.
The biggest high was in the textiles, clothing, footwear and accessories, which showed an increase of 0.6%, followed by the sector of vehicles, motorcycles and parts, with a high of 0.6%.
The biggest fall, compared to the previous year, is the sector of vehicles, motorcycles and parts, which fell 20.4% in the period.
The only sector that showed high compared to March 2016 and March 2015 was to fuels and lubricants, with an increase of 4.4%.
Between January and March this year, the retailer activity fell to 8.5% in comparison with the same period in 2015.
For the Serasa Experian, economists fall is a result of rising unemployment, high inflation rates, more expensive credit and the low level of consumer confidence.
