SÃO PAULO-inflation index on the internet, known as E-flation, rose 0.44 percent in November, after having retreated 0.77% in October, shows a survey made by the Brazilian Institute of Retail executives and Consumer Market (Ibevar) in partnership with the Retail Management program (Prove).
Over the past 12 months, prices in electronic commerce accumulate 8.13% advance. In January-September, the increase is of 5.29%, 0.45 percentage point more than the result in the same period last year.
The prices of five of the ten categories monitored fell in November. The CDs and DVDs was what had the greatest deceleration (7.34%). The other crashes were in Appliances (0.97%), telephones and mobiles (0.47%), computers (2.25%) and Perfumes and cosmetics (0.81%). Against the grain, high prices were registered in the categories pictures and Film (1.41%) Books (0.76%), toys (5.88%), electronics (3.98%) and medicine (1.57%).
