Instagram tests starting next week new purchases

The Instagram informs that will begin next week testing a new feature whereby users can buy products of American retailers through the application.
Retail networks of the United States will be able to display up to 5 products in a publication and users will have access to more details about the product by clicking on the various tags used, clarifies the Instagram in text published on Tuesday on the blog. The application also added a "buy now" link on each item billed, which, when clicked, redirects users to the website of the retailer, where you can purchase the product.
The new feature aims to keep the user connected for longer to Instagram, which currently has more than 500 million users, during the shopping experience. Previously, they had to exit the application to search and buy the products.
The Instagram reports have established partnership with 20 North American retailers, including clothing and accessories company Kate Spade, the e-commerce company Jack Threads and the manufacturer of glasses Warby Parker.
The new function will be available to a select number of users of the application on the Apple devices within the United States starting next week, in accordance with the Instagram.
