3 g Capital wants to buy the owner of Johnnie Walker, says See

3 g Capital, formed by Brazilians Jorge Paulo Lemann, Carlos Alberto Sicupira and Marcel Telles, is considering buying Diageo, according to journalist Lauro garden, of Veja magazine.
Diageo is the world's largest producer of distillates in the world and owner of famous liquor brands like Johnnie Walker, Guinness, Smirnoff and Jose Cuervo. Its market value is estimated at 68 billion dollars.
It is worth remembering that the trio is owner of Ambev, owner of brands like Brahma and Antarctica.

The information stirred investors on Wall Street. The ADSs (American Depositary Shares) of Diageo rose 8% in the afternoon, reaching 118 dollars, the biggest one-day gain since October 2008, according to Bloomberg.
The 3 g has done various operations to grow.
In March, the company joined the Berkshire Hathaway, Billionaire Warren Buffett, to acquire Kraft, thus creating the third largest food and beverage company in North America, according to the company.
The Brazilians also has profited greatly from the consolidation in the drinks industry.
In 2004, Interbrew's acquisition by 11 billion dollars. Four years later, they acquired Anheuser-Busch for 52 billion dollars, forming the world's largest brewer.
