Industrialized breads sales volume grows 12%

Kantar WorldPanel: consumer study shows that in 2014, the sales volume of industrialized breads advanced 12% over the previous year. Already in the high value was 26%.
The result indicates that the category is gaining more space in new homes. This occurs mainly among consumers who choose not to go daily to the point of sale and, therefore, prioritize highest expiration date.
According to the survey, the main highlight is the special segment, which contributed 1/3 market growth. Another finding of the survey is about the prices. It fell to the South the biggest readjustment of category, while in the great RJ was decrease.
