Bakery sector Grows 8.02% in 2014

Bakery and confectionery companies reached $ 82.5 billion in 2014, 8.02% higher revenues recorded in the previous year. Revenue growth, according to the President of the Brazilian Association of bakery and Confectionery (Abip), José Batista de Oliveira, was guaranteed by performance of bakeries that offer comprehensive services of fastfood and convenience. The number of companies that constitute the sector remains of 63.2 million, which were attended by approximately 41.5 million customers daily, over the past year.
