Hypermarcas plans to pass on in full the tax

Hypermarcas must pass on in full the tax increases to the price of the products, said the company President, Claudio Bergamo, yesterday, during conference call with analysts.
According to Bergamo, company policy is to pass on those costs in full and, with the new table in the tax on industrialized products (IPI), valid as of may, the consumer line products must undergo adjustments of 6% to 8% on average.
In the Division of farma, your adjustments will be of 5% to 7%, estimates the Executive. He recalls that, in the segment, the readjustment of some medications depends on the authorization of the Government.
Even with the increase, the company is confident with the growth in demand and the gain in market share since last year. The market share of products Hypermarcas in the pharmaceutical industry reached 10.2% in late December, citing data from IMS Health. In the consumer division, the company holds a market share of 8.5%, according to data from Nielsen for the last quarter of 2014.
Last year, the company recorded net income of r $ 402,7 million, up 56.9% compared to 2013. The net revenue grew 11.2% to R $ 4.6 billion in the same comparison, excluding sales related to third-party manufacturing agreements. Adjusted Ebitda, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization advanced 10.4 percent in the period, totaling R $ 1.1 billion.
Projection
For 2015, the bet of the company is to launch new products, like the liquid version of Lemsip, Benegrip new product in the Brazilian market and the Painkiller Doril for migraine. In a statement, Hypermarcas announced goal of adjusted Ebitda for the year, nearly r $ 1.2 billion, set value "after analysis of the macroeconomic scenario and the dynamics of markets in which [the company] acts".
