Hi has net loss of R $ 124.2 million in second quarter

Oi recorded net loss of R $ 124,225 million in the second quarter, compared with net income of r $ 345,283 million in the same period in 2012. The result is attributable to shareholders of the parent company.
Net revenues grew up 2.41% in the second quarter, to $ 7,073 billion, compared to R $ 6,906 billion in the same quarter of 2012. The cost of services sold increased 15.29% in the second quarter, to $ 3,831 billion, compared to R $ 3,323 billion from the same period of 2012.
Gross profit fell 9.53% in April-June quarter, to $ 3,241 billion. Operating expenses were high of 10.29% in the second quarter, to $ 2,534 billion.
Profit before financial result and taxes (Ebit) dropped 45% in the second quarter, to $ 706,544 million. Net financial expense advanced 25.92%, reaching R $ 871,237 million.
