Pure malt beers recorded growth of 81% in liters sold in Brazil. The data is part of a survey conducted by Kantar consultancy, specializing in consumer panels, which also points out that the common beers had 2% increase in volume of consumption in the same period. According to the research, pure malt represents 10% of the whole volume of the drink purchased for consumption within the home and also had an increment of 34% in average volume and 28% in average expenditure. According to Kantar, consumers spend R $27.25 with the drink when they are at home and R $42.08 out of the home.
