Profit and sales of Heineken grow in the first half

The Heineken Brewery obtained a profit of EUR 950 million overall in the first half of 2018, a 9.1% over the same period last year. The volume of beer sold grew 4.5% organically driven above all by force of markets such as Brazil, as well as South Africa, Russia, United Kingdom, Nigeria and Mexico. The company, however, has reduced projections for operating margin this year, due to foreign exchange effects and a dilution above the expectation of your acquisition of Kirin Brazil, held in June 2017.
