Consumer demand for credit Rises 7.2%

The amount of people who sought credit grew 7.2% in May this year compared with the same month last year, according to Serasa Experian Indicator of consumer demand for credit. In relation to April 2017, was hampered by month concentration of holidays, the demand for credit in may advanced 18.6%. With these results, consumer demand for credit has accumulated high 1.0% for the first five months of last year. In the first five months of 2017, consumer demand for credit has retreated only in the Midwest (-2.6%). In the other regions 1.3% expansions occurred in the North, 3.1% in the Northeast, 1.9 percent in the South and 0.5% in the Southeast.
