BRF closes agreement with Bunge of almost r $1 bi on soybean meal

São Paulo – the BRF signed a contract on supply of soybean meal with u.s.-based Bunge worth almost 1 billion reais, according to statement from exporter of chicken released after the close of markets Tuesday.
The brazilian company has not reported in the period of the contract or the volumes involved.
The value of the deal is 910 million reais, according to minutes of the meeting of the Board of Directors of the BRF held on 26 January.
At the same meeting, the Board of BRF authorized contract for purchase of medicine Methionine by the French Adisseo France, worth about $16,200,000.
A third contract was authorized also at the meeting, amounting to 64 million reais. The deal with the Agricultural Union Agroindustrial involves provision of industrial services "for the slaughter of chicken and array".
