Franchise market Grows 7.8% in Q3

The franchise sector in Brazil surged to 7.8% in your revenue in the third quarter of this year compared with the same period in 2016, according to data from the Quarterly performance survey of the sector conducted by the Brazilian Franchising Association-ABF. Segment performance among the eleven segments classified by ABF, the survey pointed out that the biggest growth variation was recorded in the following areas: Entertainment and leisure grew 13.1%; Communication, computers and electronics, 12.7%; Services and other business and Educational Services recorded 9.7% growth; Home and construction and health, beauty and wellness, 9.2%. The Quarterly Performance Research of Franchising for the 3rd quarter of 2017 involved a sampling base with respondents who represent approximately 41% of the total turnover of the sector and 31% of deductibles units in operation.
