64% of Brazilians have intention to travel

Study conducted by Ipsos, a market research consultancy, at the request of Europ Assistance, raised to 64 percent of Brazilians plan to travel in the coming months. The survey, which is released in Europe tradicionamente, brought for the first time the profile of Brazilian tourists, their intentions of destinations and average expenses for travel in the coming months.
Between March and may 2016, 750 people were interviewed in the country and despite the economic downturn and devalued currency, the survey found that the percentage of Brazilians who intend to travel is greater than respondents in the same survey in Europe (54%) and United States (61%).
According to Ipsos, the favourite destination of Brazilians are the United States, but 47% of respondents must make trips for destinations within Brazil in the upcoming holidays. When considering the travel destination, the Brazilians were the most concerned about the presence of Zika virus among the eight countries-54% consider the risk of infection by the disease an element "essential" to evaluate the destination of the trip.

-Brazilians are seeking to take more vacation time. The average is 2.4 weeks-against 2.1 weeks for Europeans and 1.6 for the Americans.
-Brazilians are also among the most remain connected to social networks during the holidays, 65% rule out the possibility of switching off of the digiteis channels. In Europe 39% are connected and in the United States, the index is 60%.
