Owner of the Pestle Assumes operation of the Coffee Select

Second order published yesterday, 16, in the Diário Oficial da União, the Administrative Council for economic Defense (Cade) approved without restrictions on purchase by the Dutch group Jacobs Douwe Egberts (JDE) of brazilian Foods Company and assets from Agricultural and World ventures, owner select. The owner of the brands Pestle, Caboclo and the Coffee point in Brazil had announced in April the purchase intent, but awaited the approval of regulatory authorities. The JDE will stay with equipment and buildings used for the production and storage of coffee, in addition to copyright concerning certain jingles that reference to Select brands.
