JAC STUDIES TRUCKS FACTORY IN BRAZIL

Despite the delay in factory in Camaçari (BA), which awaits contributions from Chinese array to start civil works, the Jac Motors is studying a second unit in the country, only for large trucks. The new plant is being negotiated with the Government of Rio de Janeiro, but the Rio Grande do Sul is also a possibility.
If confirmed, it will be a purely Chinese investment, without the participation of Brazilian businessman Sergio Habib, a member of the project in Bahia. SHC group, Habib, confirms the studies of Chinese but JAC participates directly in the business, has no details.

JAC's plant in Camaçari, which initially will produce hatch and sedan versions of the next-generation M3, was expected to be inaugurated later this year, but the deadline has been extended to the second half of 2015.
