Toyota's profit grows 425.9% in 3Q of fiscal year

SÃO PAULO-Toyota reported a growth of 425.9% in net profits for the third quarter of the fiscal year of the company, in comparison with the same period of the previous year. The company profited 525.4 billion yen from October to December.
The company's operating profit amounted to 600.5 billion yen in the third quarter of the fiscal year, a high of 381.3% over the same period of the previous year, as well as the net revenues grew 23.8% to 6.58 trillion yen. Pre-tax profit climbed 417.3% to 678.9 billion yen.
For the year, which ends in March 2014, Toyota projected a net profit of 1.90 trillion yen and an operating profit to 2.40 trillion yen. The projected revenue is 25.50 trillion yen.
