Weener Group acquires the Weener Empire Plastics Ltd targeting growth in emerging markets

The Weener Group just acquired 100% of the shares of Weener Empire Plastics Ltd, manufacturer of plastic containers and lids for the market of personal hygiene, food and pharmaceuticals, headquartered in Mumbai, India. The transaction includes the seven factories of the company in the country. This is an important step in the global expansion of the Weener, which now can serve customers on a global scale and grow at a faster pace in emerging markets.
