Electrolux studying investing r $ 250 million in the State of Paraná

Electrolux studies build its third factory in Parana, this time to the South, in the city of Rio Negro. According to the newspaper Valor Econômico, studies presented to the State Government on Tuesday, 24, indicate an investment of $ 250 million.
On occasion, a memorandum of understanding was signed in which the Government undertakes to give tax incentives, such as reducing the GST.
About 600 direct jobs and 2,000 indirect jobs will be generated with the production of refrigerators, freezers and washing machines.
The company informed the newspaper that the construction depends on the approval of the array, located in Sweden, and that there are conversations in other States for other constructions.
The value of the investment has not been confirmed.
The multinational has also units in São Carlos (SP) and Manaus (AM), in addition to the two in Parana.
According to Euromonitor, Electrolux is the industry leader in Brazil, with 22% of market share, behind the Whirpool, dona Brastemp and Consul marks, which holds 32 percent.
