Fiat Alfa Romeo line renews

Fiat plans to place on the market a sport utility vehicle under the brand Alfa Romeo, one of its subsidiaries. The strategy is the newest stand of the Italian carmaker to turn the Alpha in an international luxury brand, lost status for at least a decade. The product line must mainly with rival Audi, brand belonging to Volkswagen.
The SUV should arrive at dealers in 2015, according to three sources close to the project. The official announcement should be made soon. The new model is one of nine cars that Alfa is expected to launch in the next four years, and should contribute to triple sales of trademark until 2016.
The Alfa Romeo, which was the symbol of style and performance of the Italian automotive industry for decades, is the center of the President's strategy of Fiat, Sergio Marchionne, to give end to losses in Europe. The Group should throw 16 high-luxury models, including those of Alfa, until 2016, to occupy idle factories in Italy. The three major luxury brands – the German Vw, Audi and BMW-have SUVs in its lineup.
The new SUV from Alfa can even signifcar the brand's return to the United States after an absence of nearly two decades. The car will use technology and parts already used in the Dodge Dart, according to the sources. The new Alfa will be mounted at the Mirafiori, near the company's headquarters in Turin. Sought, Fiat has not manifested itself.
The Italian group is to present its results today. According to analysts ' projections, the Italian automaker must lose €743 million, 49% more than the losses obtained in 2011. Alfa sold 87 percent of its cars in Europe last year and must show prejudice to € 300 million.
