São Paulo – the Administrative Council for economic Defense (Cade) recommends the adoption, without restrictions, the Act of concentration that authorizes the transfer of the mark by the Bombril Lysoform Waxes Johnson (SC Johnson & Son Inc).

Bondmann evaluates third unit

With factories in Canoas (RS) and Indaiatuba (SP), the Chemical Bondmann plans to roll out a new drive to triple the current capacity of 10 million gallons per year of products for industry, such as cutting fluids, biodegradable solvents, degreasers, waxes and cleaners. As the commercial and industrial Director William Bond, the third unit of the company should be in Rio Grande do Sul, in Sao Paulo or in Bahia. "We are talking with some town halls," he says.

CLEANING SECTOR WILL EARN 6.1% MORE THIS YEAR

The Brazilian industry of household cleaning products should end the year with revenues of R $ 32.5 billion (including taxes on the production), on high 6.1% over the past year. Excluding the price variation, the real increase should be 4.4%. The data is the study of FGV Projects commissioned by the Associação Brasileira das Indústrias cleaning products and related (ABIPLA).

Hyundai's profit falls 15% at 1° tri, hit by foreign exchange and stops

Seoul-the South Korean carmaker Hyundai vehicles reported a 15 per cent annual fall in quarterly net profit, in line with market forecasts. The result was hit by production outages in weekend shifts and unfavourable foreign exchange fluctuations.
