Prices of steels: previous closing first fortnight of August

The prices of steel in the national industry remained stable until today, 13, in the previous closing of the first fortnight of August, in relation to last month (July). Of the indices established by Infomet, only the thick plate product presented a drop in the previous month, even if almost insignificant, of 0.61%, where the steel plate thick index went from 164 to 163. The other indices, which can still float throughout the month August, have not undergone any change until today's date. In the accumulated year of 2019, only the indices of scrap, Industrial tube and bar Chata suffered increases of 6.15%; 4.27% and 2.98% respectively. The Hot Rolled Steel Index (BQ) accumulates a decline of 2.26% this year.
