Manufacturer announces investment of R $1 billion

Today (21), Nestlé announces an investment of R $1 billion in the state of São Paulo for the next three years. The contribution includes the installation of new lines in the factories of Araçatuba and Caçapava, both in the interior of São Paulo, and new technologies applied to factories and products. In addition, the company will invest in initiatives of digital transformation and acceleration of startups. Currently, there are 10 industrial units and 6 distribution centers. Customizing items The company also announces the launch of the service ICONS by Chocobot, a technology that allows consumers to assemble the box of chocolates in their own way, creating their own selection of chocolate. The novelty is offered in a kiosk at Shopping Morumbi, in the capital of São Paulo. Through an interactive interface, aided by a robot, the client chooses 15 bombons, among the 18 available, of the brands Nestlé and Garoto. Finally, there is also the possibility of customizing the box with a message (up to 35 characters) and stickers. The price of the service is unique, in the value of R $13.99.
