Acquisition of the owner of Duetto Sai paper

The Papermaker Softys, a Chilean subsidiary of CMPC, announces the completion of the acquisition of the company Paranaense SEPAC, owner of the brands Duetto, Paloma, Stylus and Maxim. The tissue paper is used in the production of toilet paper, paper towel, diapers and paper tissues. According to the multinational, the total value of the business was R $1.312 billion. SEPAC is headquartered in the southern region of Paraná and provides sales in the value of US $200 million. The integration of the two companies consolidate Softys, present in the Brazilian market since 2009 and owner of the brands Elite and Sublimes, as the largest operator of the tissue industry in Brazil.
