SÃO PAULO (Reuters)-The agribusiness company Cargill announced on Wednesday the acquisition of Beckers Animal Nutrition industry, producer of feed for piglets in Brazil. According to Cargill's statement, the transaction will increase the supply of the company's swine rations in the country, with a specific focus on the South region--Beckers is located in Quatro Pontes (PR)--and in young pigs. The factory of the acquired company, still according to Cargill, has capacity for production of 8000 tons per month of feed.
