Agency authorizes gas adjustment accommodation of 9.63 percent to 17.93% in SP

The regulatory agency for sanitation and energy of the State of São Paulo (Arsesp) released today, 1, the new price of natural gas supplied by the concessionaire Company of São Paulo (Comgas). The increases authorized by the Agency vary according to the profile of the customers, segmented by activity and consumption volume. The natural gas vehicles had 40.1 percent adjustment to R $1.79 per cubic meter. For residential consumers, the increases varied from 9.63% for the lower range of consumption until 17.93% for the highest spending profile. Commercial customers have had adjustments between 12% for those who have less consumption, up to 25% for the highest range. The industries will pay between 24.1% and 37.6% more expensive gas from today. The company caters to clients with a network 1,880,000 of piped gas distributed by 88 municipalities. The concessionaire is responsible for supplying in the metropolitan region of São Paulo, in Great Meadows, in Santos and the Paraíba Valley.
