Sp Retail Predicts Revenueof R$ 741B

The retail trade in the state of São Paulo projects to close the year with real growth of 6% in revenues, to R$ 741 billion. The value is higher by R$ 40 billion compared to last year. The projection is from the Federation of Trade in Goods, Services and Tourism of the State of São Paulo (FecomercioSP) and, if confirmed, will represent the largest advance in the sector in the last eight years. According to the entity, the durable goods segment should be up 8%. The supermarket sector should total R$ 244 billion in revenues. For 2020, the expectation is a 6% increase in sales, with revenues of R$ 783 billion - R$ 42 billion more compared to this year.
