Coca-Cola invests in Returnable PET Containers

Coca-Cola FEMSA Brazil expanded the returnable PET packaging line and spear, in Minas Gerais, three flavors of Fanta (Orange, grape and Guarana) in Ref PET bottles. The sodas are already being produced in the factory of Coca-Cola FEMSA Brazil in Itabirito and can be purchased in supermarkets, grocery stores and bakeries throughout the State of Minas Gerais. According to the company, the participation of returnable packaging has grown in the mining market in recent years. Only in 2017, the presence of returnable PET containers in small markets, grocery stores and bakeries grew to 14.8%, while that of disposable was 40.9%. From this month, the returnable Pet bottles can be exchanged for any empty packaging of Ref PET.
