Result of 2016-sales in Supermarkets have high of 1.58%

According to the National Sales Index OPEN, prepared by the Department of Economics and research, sales of the supermarket sector recorded high of 1.58% in 2016, in real values. In December, sales grew by 2.23% in real terms over the same month of 2015. In comparison with November, the real high was 20.89%, a reflection of the Christmas sales. In nominal values, the industry showed sales high of 21.26% compared with the previous month and when compared to December of the previous year, up 8.66 percent. Year to date, sales grew 10.44%.
