Nivea brand company invests 300 million R$ in SP

The German multinational Beiersdorf, owner of the Nivea brand, will invest 300 million R$ to extend your factory in Itatiba (Brazil). The unit has been in existence since 2003. The group does not reveal what will change in your production with the contribution, just that the extension of the plant should be fully functional by the end of 2019.
The Brazil is one of the markets where there has been more growth in recent years, according to the company, but the entire sector had 9.3% retracement in 2015 (the latest data available from Abihpec, the industry association).
Weighed in choosing Itatiba the proximity to the city of São Paulo and the other in the State, according to Naima Lucci, Director of São Paulo Invests government agency that negotiated the supply with Beiersdorf. "They want to be well positioned in the country over the next five years, but already the Brazilian consumption of cosmetics is great, one of the largest in the world."
