Group of Chaim Zaher makes new acquisition, this time of Canadian

Sao Paulo-the SEB Group, businessman Chaim Zaher, announced on Monday, 13, the acquisition of South American operation of the network of Canadian education systems Mapple Bear.
With the deal, the SEB takes over the operations of Mapple Bear in Brazil and can make the expansion of the brand in other countries of Latin America.
According to the company, the Mapple Bear today in Brazil 85 schools and serves over 15000 students. According to the Executive Director of the SEB, Falinda Zaher, the company has scheduled an expansion to the South America market and business marks the Group''s internationalization.
The family Zaher has resumed purchases in basic education and had already announced this year the resumption of Pueri Domus system, which in the past had been sold by the British group Pearson.
The Zaher also are shareholders of Statius, company which became relevant partners after the sale of UniSeb. Currently, the SEB holds 11% of Statius.
