Bill will have no additional charge in June

The electricity bill of June of Brazilians will not have an additional burden on tariff flags system. Next month, the tariff in the flag light will be green, that does not generate additional charge. The decision was made at a meeting by the Board of Directors of the weekly Aneel (the national electric energy agency).
According to the Agency, the good rains at the beginning of the year, who recovered the reservoirs of hydroelectric plants, supply reduction and the entry of new plants in operation have contributed to keep the green flag, in force since April.
When the flag is yellow or red, there is an increase in consumers '' accounts to signal a smaller supply of electricity.
The use of the green flag, however, is not final. Changing the tariff flags is linked to use of thermal power plants and can be changed if the cost needs to be passed on to consumers.
