ABRE (Brazilian packaging Association) of the Brazilian Packaging closed entries in the next 30 days
The initiative comes to 16th edition with the theme "and eligible packages produced over the last year in six modules and more a special category
São Paulo, June 2016 – the 16th Prize OPENS the Brazilian Packaging is with registration open until June 30 for packaging produced over the last year. With the theme ", the initiative of the Brazilian packaging Association opens – seeking to enhance the technology, the design and the solutions developed by Brazilians for Brazilians, valuing our culture, behavior, knowledge and assets.
The award recognizes OPEN packaging solutions that have stood out as icons of quality, technology, design, functionality, innovation and seeks to encourage sustainable development. "The intention is to highlight the importance of a good creation of packaging that goes beyond design, covering mainly the question of functionality for the consumer," says Isabella Salibe, commercial and Marketing Manager OPENS.
New for this edition is the incorporation of the special category "packaging for the reduction of losses and food waste", to highlight the packaging showing innovation in materials, barrier technologies, functionality, positioning and communication to reduce the waste and the waste of food. The new category, (comma) which is in line with other actions of the OPENS and of international organizations, in particular the initiative Save Food led by FAO-United Nations food and Agriculture Organization and the Messe Düsseldorf, shows a work of the entity thought also on the tip end which is the consumer.
The award OPENS has six modules that comprise several categories, giving emphasis to the main packing strategies. The awardees are classified as gold, silver or Bronze, and give the winning company and its professionals notoriety, recognition and appreciation in national and international territory.
