Tone of pessimism remains in sector

São Paulo-two indicators that signal as is the retail point maintaining low business confidence in the sector.
In the case of companies, the Outlook for the economy remains negative, which discourages the growth of Commerce in Sao Paulo, the expansion of Trade Index (IEC) of February, which presented fall of 6% as compared to January and rose from 72.1 to 67.7 points.
In comparison with the same period last year, the reduction was even greater ( -26.7%), indicating the survey calculated each month by the Federation of trade in goods, services and tourism of the State of São Paulo (FecomercioSP). As the entity, the retraction is associated with the pessimism of entrepreneurs with the current economy, which leads to continued reduction of staff and limited business investment.
Consumption
Already the Intention index of household consumption (ICF) fell 1.6% in March, compared to February. Compared to March 2015, the recoil was 29.9%, indicates the National Confederation of trade in goods, services and tourism (CNC). According to the CNC, all components of the index recorded fall in the comparisons, "with emphasis on Current Consumption level: minimum of 53.3 points.
