Traceability Open presents first program balance

The entity presented the first swing Rama (Traceability and monitoring program of food), released in 2011. The initiative reached the tracking and tracing in Brazil from an average of 15 million pounds of fruits and vegetables (FLV) per month. To date, about one million tonnes of food were tracked, contributing to the reduction in the consumption of pesticides. The Rama has 34 supermarket networks participants (more than 20% of the total sales of marketed by the industry in Brazil FLV) and is scheduled to cover all Brazilian States through synergy with State Associations of Supermarkets.
