The internet price index falls to 0.38% in September, says Ibevar

SÃO PAULO-inflation index on the internet, known as E-flation, was 0.38% drop in September, after having retreated 1.05 percent in August, shows a survey made by the Brazilian Institute of Retail executives and Consumer Market (Ibevar) in partnership with the Retail Management program (Prove).
In the last 12 months, however, prices in electronic commerce accumulate high 8.22%. In January-September, the advance is 5.65 percent, 0.54 percentage point more than the result in the same period last year.
The prices of five of the ten categories monitored fell in September. The CDs and DVDs was what had the greatest deceleration ( -12.53%). The other crashes were in categories Electronics ( -3%), telephones and mobiles ( -2.83%), data processing ( -0.24%) and medicine ( -0.17%). Against the grain, high prices were registered in the categories pictures and Film (2.79%) Books (2.17%), toys (1.06%), household appliances (0.86%) and Perfumes and cosmetics (0.51%).
