Brazil is the largest importer of oil from Chile

According to a survey of the ChileOliva Association, which brings together the major producers of extra-virgin olive oil from Chile, Brazil follows occupying the first place in numbers of imports of the product (the rank was achieved by the end of 2014). In the first half of 2015, the country was the main destination of Chilean olive oils, with 35% stake, 3% more than the United States, occupying the second position of the ranking with 32%. Last year, have been exported $ 41,668,955 in value, corresponding 9,543 tons of olive oil. Of this total, 40% were sent to Brazil.
