Brazil Kirin invests R $ 900 mi to expand factory in PE

Beverage maker Kirin Brazil will invest about 900 million dollars to expand its production lines in Igarassu (Pernambuco), 30 km from Recife.
The works were opened on Tuesday and will be divided into six steps, which must be completed in the next five years. The initial investment of 400 million reais.
The increase comprises an area of 38,000 square meters in the whole plant, which has three production lines.

The plant will supply, as well as the States of Paraíba, Pernambuco, Rio Grande do Norte, Alagoas and Ceara.

The new operation will have a system for reuse of rainwater, which is used for cleaning and irrigation of local vegetation.
She was also designed to consume 30% less electricity than the other units of the group.
The Brazil Kirin has 13 factories in 11 States of the country and employs more than 11,000 people.
The company owns brands such as Wanton, Schin, Baden Baden, Eisenbahn, Kirin Ichiban, Cintra, Glacial, Schin, Fibz Water, Ecco, Itubaína, Fruthos and Skinka.
